Did You Hear That? The African lynx, or Caracal, uses the more than 20 muscles that control their ears to help locate prey. |
Well, now's your chance to find out! We are currently recruiting volunteers, ages 16 and up, for our Animal Interaction Program. These volunteers are responsible for running some of Tanganyika's interactive exhibits, including monitoring interactions between animals and guests, answering guest questions, and helping us to provide our visitors with a wildly different experience. If you choose to donate your time, you will be scheduled for shifts at the exhibits based on your preferences. We only require a willingness to learn and a desire to talk to people about our wonderful animals! Training for this program is required, so contact Tanganyika's Education Department for more information!
