As an intern your primary responsibilities will include: cleaning and maintaining outside yards and interacting with the public through tours, animal rides, and animal ambassadors. Also, you will have opportunities to shadow keepers and assist with feeding of some species, cleaning inside facilities, animal enrichment, exhibit enhancement, and other animal responsibilities. This will be our first year for the internship, so flexibility is a must. The candidates chosen will play a large role in shaping the program.
